We have arrived in Death Valley. This area was particularly dry and had large odd circular patterns that we dubbed "Desert Circles".

After a few hours of driving we came to Red Rock.

And here we are at Brian's apt. enjoying ourselves before our big trip.

We went up some crazy streets to try to get close to the Hollywood sign. After about 45 min we found it.

Back to school

Arrived in Santa Cruz

On the second day of our journey we arrived in Santa Cruz where we stayed two nights at Micheal's apt.. In Santa Cruz we went to UCSC and attended a lecture on the physics of molecular bonding. We checked out the town and went to the boardwalk.

In Joe's Apt.

We arrived in San Francisco and went to Twin Peaks with Joe. While in San Francisco we went to Chinatown, Japantown, Grace Cathedral, Lumbar street, etc..

3500 Mile Trip

Erika Watanabe, Tomoaki Nakamura, Brian Nelson, and I went on a road trip starting 2/19/2007 to 3/5/2007. This is a map of our travels for reference. The red line indicates the road that we took going there. The green is the road back. As there are around 2 gigs of pictures from our trip, I will only post the highlights.
